Friday 1 November: Our area performance reports for the West End have identified a positive trend of increasing footfall, that if it continues, we are likely to see strong footfall figures over the festive period.

Festive lights switch-on

• Coventry St: Thursday 7 November 2024 – Tuesday 7 January 2025
• Cranbourn, Irving & Bear St: Thursday 7 November 2024 – Tuesday 7 January 2025
• St. Martin’s Lane: Thursday 7 November 2024 – Tuesday 7 January 2025
• Piccadilly: Thursday 7 November 2024 – Sunday 5 January 2025

Piccadilly’s famed light display will return this November kicking off the festive season. Building works being carried out along the street means there will be a reduced aerial display, however, visitors will still be able to see the spectacle and walk along to neighboring displays at Fortnum & Mason, St James’s Church, Burlington Arcade and many more.

Christmas Markets
Christmas in Leicester Square by Underbelly in collaboration with Westminster City Council returns this month, featuring a festive market which will include outdoor bars, food and traditional market stalls.

Hosted in a 1920s Spiegeltent within the market, La Clique will return to the West End. Celebrating 20 years of world-class cabaret, comedy and circus show, the multi-award-winning performance makes the perfect team night out to celebrate the festive season.

Christmas Tree Recycling
Westminster City Council offers real Christmas tree recycling from Thursday 26 December 2024, to Sunday 19 January 2025.  Learn more here.
