
HOLBA celebrates Olivier Awards 2025 nominees and proudly supports the prestigious event
Tuesday 4 March: The nominees for the 2025 Olivier Awards with Mastercard have been announced, and Heart of London Business Alliance (HOLBA) is delighted to celebrate the incredible theatre talent within our district. As proud sponsors of the Olivier Awards, we continue to champion the world-class entertainment that makes London’s West End a global cultural powerhouse.
This year’s nominations spotlight the outstanding productions and creatives within our membership, showcasing their exceptional contributions to the industry. While the full list of nominees includes many talented individuals, we are especially proud to celebrate the following HOLBA members:
- Best Lighting Design – Paule Constable and Ben Jacobs for Oliver! at Gielgud Theatre
- Best Actress in a Supporting Role – Romola Garai and Gina McKee for The Years at Almeida Theatre and Harold Pinter Theatre
- Best Theatre Choreographer – Matthew Bourne for Oliver! at Gielgud Theatre
- Best Sound Design – Thijs van Vuure for The Years at Almeida Theatre and Harold Pinter Theatre
- Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical – Layton Williams for Titanique at Criterion Theatre
- Best New Entertainment or Comedy Play – Inside No 9 Stage/Fright at Wyndham’s Theatre and Titanique at Criterion Theatre
- Best Director – Eline Arbo for The Years at Almeida Theatre and Harold Pinter Theatre
- Best Musical Revival – Oliver! at Gielgud Theatre
- Best Actor in a Musical – Simon Lipkin for Oliver! at Gielgud Theatre
- Best Actress in a Musical – Lauren Drew for Titanique at Criterion Theatre
- Best New Play – The Years at Almeida Theatre and Harold Pinter Theatre
