In 2024, Heart of London Business Alliance (HOLBA) carried out a major business study to better understand how office-based companies in our area are working — whether that’s from the office, from home, or a mix of both. The findings of which were layered on to our insights on footfall, visitor demographics and spending patterns, and published in our Real Estate Insights Report:

We’re now building on that research and inviting other West End businesses to share how they’re operating in 2025. Findings will be shared with participants to shape a fuller picture of working trends in the area. Learn more here.

Key 2024 findings: 

• • 44% of businesses said their staff work exclusively from the office.
  • 56% offer hybrid or remote working options.
  • Mondays and Fridays were the most common WFH days.
  • 74% of hybrid companies let employees choose their in-office days.

The 2025 results will be published in June, and all participants will be notified.
