Real Rates Reform coalition

Working together to reform the UK business rates system

We are bringing together leading trade bodies, business associations and major companies to form a UK-wide coalition that will actively support the case for HOLBA’s Hybrid Business Rate proposal.

There is now a real window to shape the future of business rates and our focus is on building a strong, unified voice that can influence government and drive meaningful reform.

Coalition activity will include:

Participation in campaign planning.

Representation at campaign meetings and briefings.

Signatory support on letters and calls to Government.

A named role in the coalition’s public-facing activity.

Support with campaign delivery, advocacy, and amplification.

Financial contribution to help fund campaign activity, where appropriate.

Other ways to get involved

For smaller trade bodies, individual businesses and organisations that support reform but may not have the capacity to commit time or resources, there are still meaningful ways to show your support.

What this may include:

Listing as a supporter on the campaign page.

Signatory support on selected campaign letters or statements.

Opportunities to receive campaign updates and briefings.

The ability to share campaign messages with networks.
