Our role at HOLBA is to protect and promote the cultural and commercial well-being of the destination.
We are at an exciting, pivotal moment for our organisation with the evolvement of economic development strategies, commercial partnerships and significant placemaking schemes. As a result, we are recruiting for several new roles. Please refer to the job description for full details of the role, including the qualities and experience required.
Want to shape and enhance the public realm in the heart of the West End? The Place Shaping Project Manager drives the delivery of high-impact projects and programmes aligned with the Heart of London’s Place Strategy. Focused on improving the West End’s vibrancy, accessibility and sustainability, this hands-on role leads physical and environmental interventions that bring the Place shaping Strategy, Cultural Strategy, Evening & Night-Time Vision, and Net Zero Roadmap to life.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in delivering public realm, placemaking, and/or urban improvement projects along with a strong understanding of urban centre challenges including changing travel behaviours, sustainability, and public safety. You need to demonstrate excellent project management and organisational skills as well as strong interpersonal and partnership-building skills. Experience of planning, licensing, and procurement in the public realm are a must, and knowledge of central London is desirable.

Want a unique opportunity to shape the urban economy at the heart of London’s West End? The Urban Economy Manager works in partnership with business and across sectors to build economic resilience, drive innovation and investment, and promote sustainable growth. It is a strategic role, leading the delivery of an area-wide Economic Development Strategy, an economic insights function and economic development projects to enhance the area's commercial and cultural competitiveness.
The successful candidate will have experience in economic development, urban policy, or regeneration along with strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into strategic insights and narrative. You need to be a skilled communicator with excellent writing and stakeholder management abilities and ideally have knowledge of central London’s economy.

Street Services Assistant c£25-30k (dependent on experience)
Want to support the maintenance of standards of the day-to-day street-level services delivery within the heart of the West End? The role of Street Services Assistant is a highly visible, street-based role patrolling the BID area daily to ensure it remains clean, safe, and welcoming.
The successful applicant will have strong observation and problem-solving skills and will require excellent communication skills for liaising with local businesses in the monitoring, logging, and escalation of issues. Experience of working in a customer-focused environment, as a public-facing or operational role (cleansing, public realm, safety) is essential.
