As part of our exclusive member training programme, we’re inviting you to take part in ACT Operational, a practical workshop from the UK’s national Action Counters Terrorism (ACT) initiative. This free session forms part of a comprehensive suite of counter-terrorism awareness products designed for businesses, industry partners and organisations, particularly those operating in venues and public spaces.
About the session
ACT Operational is a facilitated, interactive, scenario-based workshop delivered by the Police's Counter Terrorism Security Advisers (CTSAs). The session provides an invaluable opportunity for members to gain insight into how to safeguard their organisations and the people who visit them.
During this training, you will:
- Understand the ongoing threat from terrorism and how it may affect businesses in public spaces.
- Strengthen your organisation’s security culture and resilience.
- Improve preparedness through discussion-led, realistic scenarios that test response and planning.
Who is it for?
- This session is designed for all businesses and venues operating and who occupy space within the West End.
- This training is open to all, and we typically see a broad mix of attendees - from customer-facing operational roles to facilities and office managers.
- It is offered free to HOLBA members as part of your membership benefits.
- Each business is welcome to send up to two employees. Let us know if you would like to send more.
- ACT Operational is part of a wider suite of training, which can contribute to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for security professionals.
