As part of our free member-only Business Training Programme, we’re inviting you to take part in RAGE (Raising Awareness of Gangs and Exploitation) Training, provided by Westminster City Council's Integrated Gangs and Exploitation Unit.
This training is designed for frontline staff, including hospitality and retail workers, social services, probation, education, health staff, local communities and businesses to bring a better understanding and awareness of criminal groups/gangs operating in and around our communities.
The training includes:
- Who the Integrated Gangs and Exploitation Unit (IGXU) are
- What is exploitation and grooming
- Gangs and associated trends
- Features of criminal gangs
- Females and gangs
- Gang related crimes
- Safety in hospitality and night-time economy
- Resales – benefits and the risks
- Importance of reporting and recording
- Support services
Our Business Training Programme
HOLBA provides our members with a free programme of interactive in-person workshops to improve business resilience, safety, and operational capability. This annual programme has been designed to help West End businesses stay ahead with the essential skills needed to operate in a global city.
Sessions are delivered by frontline experts, from the Police Cyber Security Unit to the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO).
